Rochelle Mutton is a visionary leader and paediatric occupational therapist, best known for her work in creating neuro-affirming, trauma-informed therapy environments that empower children and families. As the Founder and Lead OT of Motivate Kids in South Australia, she has grown the practice over 8 years from a two-person team into a thriving organisation of over 40 staff across three purpose designed studios.
She pioneered the design and development of the Motivate Kids studio in Broadview, awarded the 2024 HIA-CSR South Australian Housing Award for Best Small Commercial Project. The facility sets a new benchmark for therapeutic environments for children, combining research-informed design with a deep understanding of regulation, sensory and developmental needs.
Grounded in clinical excellence and guided by a relational, values-led philosophy, Rochelle has led the development of holistic, evidence-informed services that extend beyond traditional therapy models—including Motivate Education, Motivate Internship, and programs that build both community and workforce capacity.
With expertise in sensory integration and attachment-based therapy, she mentors the next generation of therapists, advocates for sustainable, values-led service delivery, and collaborates on emerging research to shape the future of paediatric therapy.
At the heart of Rochelle’s work lies a commitment to connection and compassion—ensuring that every child feels safe, seen, and supported.

Leonie Short is a Dental Practitioner and Dental Therapist. She started working as a dental therapist in Rural NSW and then moved into being an academic and researcher. Through her career, Leonie has worked at 6 universities across New South Wales and Queensland, and remaining community focused.
Leonie’s mission is to have improved oral health experiences and outcomes, however she recognises, the health system really needs to work hard to make it happen and for people to understand why it needs to be a priority.

Confronting picture of growing women’s health crisis in uterine cancers
Uterine cancers have become Australia’s fastest-growing women’s cancer, with incidence doubling over the past 25 years and projected to continue to surge. Without immediate action, more than 44,000 women are expected to be diagnosed by 2035, and 8,900 will lose their lives to the disease.
Released November 2025, Australia’s first State of the Nation: Uterine Cancers in Australia 2025 report by the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG), reveals a confronting picture of a growing women’s health crisis that has gone largely unseen and one that now requires immediate, coordinated national action.

Lasers in dental treatment without needles and drills
In 2017, Dr. Omar Zuaiter and Alaa Habeb launched Dentroid, a dental technology startup with a mission to make dentistry a kinder and friendlier experience for patients and dentists using photonics (using laser technology) and robotics, as alternatives to needles, drills and sprays. The vision for the startup is to have dentistry adopt laser technology, addressing the root causes of dental pain & anxiety, and create a pain-free dental experience.
